What type of Meal Plan is recommended?
We have a variety of meal plans to meet your needs! Depending on your class year, where you live, and how much you are on campus, our recommendations may vary. Be sure to use our filter and sort functions to help choose your plan. If you still need help choosing a plan, give us a call at 502-852-5991 or email us email@example.com.
Are Meal Plans required?
All students that live in Traditional Housing on campus which includes: Community Park, Kurz, Louisville Hall, Miller Hall, Threlkeld Hall, and Unitas Tower you are required to have one of the following meal plans:
- All Access Dining Plus Plan
- All Access Plan
- 135 Plan
All students that live in Apartment Housing which includes: Bettie Johnson Hall, University Tower Apartments, and University Pointe are required to have one of the following meal plans:
- 135 Plan
- 100 Plan
- 60 Plan
- Apartment Flex Plan
All full-time undergraduate students that live off-campus taking at least 9 credit hours are required to have one of the following meal plans:
- 5 Plus Plan
- 5 Plan
- 75 Plan
- 50 Plan
- Base Flex Plan
What are Flex Dollars?
Flex Dollars are accepted as payment at all on campus restaurants. They are loaded right on your CARD ID, so there is no need to carry around cash or another card! There is no minimum balance, over draft fees, or hassles!
Save 6% on all on campus dining purchases, including the Ville Grill, when you use Flex Dollars. Add more at any time. There are two ways to add funds to your card:
- Visit the Cardinal Card Office to add funds using cash, check, VISA, MasterCard, or Discover.
- Online through the Cardinal Card website using your ULink username and password using VISA, MasterCard, or Discover.
Bonus Flex Points – Add $100; get 10% Bonus; Add $200, get 20% Bonus; Add $300(or more) and get 25% Bonus
What if I want to change my Meal Plan?
Meal Plan change requests must be completed on the Cardinal Card website http://louisville.edu/cardinalcard. For questions, give us a call at 502-852-5991.
Can I carry meals over to the next semester?
No, all meals expire at the end the end of each semester.
Can I treat a friend to a meal?
To keep discounts as high as possible, meals are reserved for the meal plan holder only. However, All Access meal plan holders do get 10 guests meals per semester that they can use as they like and you can always treat a friend using Flex Points at any time.
Where is the Meal Plan Office Located?
